On The Menu
On the Menu is a bookwork collaboration between myself and writer Jacqueline Valencia. Inside is a 6” x 24” hand pulled, two layer screen print, folded and bound into a 4" x 6" hardcover book.
The content of the book was generated in an image/text exchange I had with the writer wherein I would send her an image that she would respond to with a poem, which I would then respond to with another image. The work features 6 original poems by Jacqueline Valencia printed in black on top of my artwork in gold.
The books were created in a limited edition of 53 and sold through InPrint Collective.
